Conferència de la Societat Catalana de Física, sobre el premi Nobel de Física del 2023, amb el títol: “Attoscience – What is it and what can be done with it?” que impartirà el Dr. Jens Biegert, cap de Recerca del grup “Attociència i òptica ultraràpida” de l’ICFO.
Serà el proper dia 1 de febrer, dijous, a les 18:00 hores, a la sala Nicolau d’Olwer, seu de l’Institut d’Estudis Catalans.
Resum: Any chemical reaction, or the functionality of any device and material is determined by how their components, i.e., their nuclei and electrons, interact. Attoscience provides the tools and the physical understanding of these interaction from a microscopic quantum level to macroscopic properties. This offers, for the first time, a real view into how things really work.
